Frequently Asked Questions
What is The Human Known Project?
The Human Known Project is a community about understanding ourselves and each other through
the sharing of life experiences. There's a lot that goes into this project, but the most
important thing is the collection and sharing of stories.
You can also see our about section.
What can I do here?
At The Human Known Project you can do any combination of three things.
- you can share your stories and experiences to help others, immortalize yourself, and
contribute to the greater project goals.
- you can read, learn, and grow by reading through the experiences and stories of others.
It's insightful, informative, and entertaining.
- you can connect with people to a level you can't anywhere else on the web. This is a place
where you can discuss topics, ask for advice and guidance, or provide your knowledge. Through
discussions, one on one contact, or through groups.
What is the goal of this project?
You can read our mission statement and vision statement. In brief, the goal of
this project is two-fold; one, to make recorded history fair and globally available
to every individual; and two, to take this new human historical record and try
to address the questions of who we are and why we are here.
Here are some other goals of the project:
- A reference for interesting, insightful, and informational stories
- A place where the human experience is what creates history
- The democratization of the historical record
- An online social network of real people expressing who they really are
- A vault to keep this information forever, so it is not lost with time
How do I get started?
Get started by reading stories and then share your
stories and experiences with the world.
